Discussion:
One of the great intellectual discussions is related to the possible relationship between religion and the constitution of prejudicial ideas addressed to different minority groups in society. Opinions differ, different points of view emerge, but one way or another, the theories and hypotheses never leave the "hood" of academic corridors. Everyone has a lot of to say but little or no scientific basis, for support. For this reason it is extremely important that a scientific view falls on these issues and analysis according to the parameters of science, then what was once explained only by speculations and beliefs can now be explained, be disputed or endorsed by theories and scientific studies and, thus, that which dwells within the shadows of the caves can finally walk into the light and reach the intelligible. For this reason it is necessary to do a lot of research in this area.
Through research it is possible to see that religion has some influence on the formation of concepts and prejudiced attitudes. However attention should be paid to the following aspect: Studies generally rely on a sample containing mostly Christian (Catholic or Protestant) within the American community. In other words, the research material and its possible conclusions arising from the effect of this particular crop of society. then the analysis of the influence of Christianity that developed within the socio-historical context of the North American community (and despite being the same basic religious retrieve all Christian religions) is under the influence of cultural differences and social/historic revolutions of the country. In short, we perceive that the findings of experiments apply to this specific type of society and allows us to say that the results could vary in other communities.
