RESUMO
Segundo o ministério da saúde, o mecanismo fisiológico que regula o restabelecimento da ovulação depois do parto é apenas parcialmente conhecido. As manifestações involutivas e de recuperação da genitália materna inicia-se após o parto e termina quando a fisiologia da paciente volta ao seu estado anterior ao da gestação.
