RESUMO
A vulnerabilidade e risco social é um dos principais aspectos a serem combatidos pelo Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente (ECA) em que, em um de seus artigos, apresenta os abrigos e casas lares como uma medida de proteção judicial a crianças e adolescentes que se encontram em tal circunstância. Desta forma, compreender quais ações estão sendo realizadas por estas instituições e de que forma estas crianças e adolescentes estão sendo atendidas é um dos pontos norteadores desta pesquisa que, em análise ao Abrigo Casa Lar Ciã Katuá localizado na cidade de Macapá/AP, busca compreender o apoio fornecido à crianças e adolescentes para que estas recebam a proteção necessária para o seu desenvolvimento físico, mental e social conforme previsto na Declaração Universal do Direito das Crianças.

ABSTRACT
The vulnerability and social risk is one of the main aspects to be combated by Statute of the Child and Adolescent (Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescentes - ECA) in which, in one of its articles, presents the shelters and houses homes as a measure of legal protection for children and adolescents who are in such circumstances. In This way, to understand what actions are being performed by these institutions and how these children and adolescents are being answered is one of guiding this research points that, in examining under Abrigo Casa Lar Ciã Katuá located in the city of Macapa/AP, seeks to understand the support provided to children and adolescents so that they receive the necessary protection for your physical, mental, and social development as laid down in the Universal Declaration of the Rights of Children.
