RESUMO
Este trabalho é um relato das experiências vividas durante as aulas ministradas em uma congregação pertencente à primeira igreja batista em Mossoró – RN. O objetivo do mesmo é investigar como se dá o processo de musicalização pelo violão com pré-adolescentes de diferentes situações econômicas e sociais, a partir da educação musical e todos os valores inerentes à Música. Doravante a esta investigação discute-se a possibilidade de mudança no comportamento pessoal e social a partir do processo de musicalização e do o ambiente no qual os mesmos desenvolvem suas potencialidades como indivíduos e membros integrantes de uma comunidade. É uma pesquisa qualitativa exploratória, já que além do levantamento bibliográfico, foram feitas entrevistas com alunos e pais de alunos para analisar e compreender melhor este processo.
