RESUMO
Na década de 80, eles viveram suas infâncias. Mas hoje, na segunda década do século XXI, continuam em busca da segurança, do conforto e de todas as diversões dos tempos de ingenuidade. Mais do que um coletivo, agora os
Kidults se tornaram um estilo de vida calcado no consumo de bens característicos da infância. Chaveiros do Mickey, camisetas do Capitão
América, bolsas estampadas com a Hello Kitty e todos os personagens atemporais que inspiram uma nova forma de encarar a rotina. Talvez seja uma maneira de ver a hostilidade do mundo menos intensamente. Talvez seja uma maneira de se manter na “Terra do Nunca”, onde as crianças nunca crescem. Através da psicologia e da publicidade, busca-se entender o motivo que levam os Kidults a terem um comportamento não condizente com a sua faixa etária e etapa de vida.

Keychans, Captain America’s t-shirts, bags emblazoned with Hello Kitty and all the timeless characters who inspire a new way of facing the routine.
Maybe it is a way to see the world’s hostility less intensely. Maybe it’s a way to stay in “Neverland”, where the children never grow up. Through psychology and advertising, we want to understand the reasons that lead the
Kidults to have a behavior not consistent with their age and stage of life.
