RESUMO

O objetivo deste trabalho foi tematizar a circulação de mensagens relativas à homossexualidade e

compreender

como

os

homossexuais

percebem

essas

representações sociais exibidas na teledramaturgia brasileira. As telenovelas são exibidas diariamente e mantém a atenção de milhões de pessoas em nosso país, sendo motivo de discussão de pontos de vista nos mais diferentes lugares, causando as mais diversas reações. Para o desenvolvimento deste artigo, foi escolhida a análise do personagem Félix, interpretado pelo ator Mateus Solano, na novela “Amor à Vida”, da
Rede Globo, representante da indústria cultural brasileira. Para analisar o objeto de estudo, optou-se por uma pesquisa de caráter quantitativo, utilizando o questionário estruturado como estratégia metodológica.

ABSTRACT

The aim of this study was to thematize the circulation of information relating to homosexuality and understand how homosexuals perceive these social representations shown on the Brazilian teledramaturgy. Soap operas are displayed daily and keep the attention of millions of people in our country, being a topic of discussion in many different places, causing many different reactions. For the development of this article it was chosen the character Felix, played by actor Mateus, in the soap opera named “Amor à Vida”, produced by Rede Globo, Brazilian representative of the Cultural Industry . To analyze the object of study, it was applied a quantitative research study, using a structured questionnaire as a methodological strategy.
