RESUMO: O objetivo deste artigo foi investigar como o vídeo tem sido utilizado em sala de aula e apontar a contribuição dessa tecnologia no processo ensino-aprendizagem. A pesquisa caracteriza-se como quantitativa, tendo sido adotado a metodologia da pesquisa de campo, onde foram aplicados questionários aos sujeitos responsáveis pelo desenvolvimento do processo de ensino e aprendizagem da instituição em foco. O artigo também se embasou em uma pesquisa bibliográfica, apresentando discussões sobre as relações professor e aluno no processo ensino aprendizagem mediado pelo vídeo, as novas competências que os educadores estão sendo desafiados a construir, buscando nos referenciais teóricos de Belloni (2001), Cinelli (2003), Moran (2000) e outros, a proposta e metodologia de utilização deste recurso em ambiente de aprendizagem com o vídeo. Desta maneira foi possível compreender quais as implicações do uso do vídeo na prática docente como ferramenta no processo ensino-aprendizagem.

ABSTRACT: The objective of this paper was to investigate how the video has been used in the classroom and point out the contribution of this technology in the teaching-learning process. The research is characterised as quantitative, having been adopted the methodology of field research, where questionnaires were applied subjects responsible for the development of the teaching and learning process of the institution in focus.
