RESUMO
A função exercida pelo Delegado de Polícia está estritamente relacionada com os Direitos Humanos e, sobretudo, com a dignidade da pessoa humana. O presente trabalho tem o objetivo de demonstrar a necessidade da existência de um Delegado de Polícia técnico e independente para o respeito à dignidade da pessoa humana. Buscar-se-á textos doutrinários e legais para a demonstração do alegado. Ao final, ficará claro que a sociedade estará melhor amparada e a Constituição Federal atendida se respeitarmos, em sentido amplo, a figura do Delegado de Polícia.

ABSTRACT
The function performed by the Chief of Police is closely related to human rights and, above all, the dignity of the human person. This paper aims to demonstrate the need for the existence of a Chief of Police for independent technical and respect for human dignity. Search will be legal and doctrinal texts for the alleged demonstration. In the end, it will be clear that society will be better supported and serviced if we respect the Federal Constitution, in its broadest sense, the figure of the Chief of Police.
