RESUMO
Neste artigo serão apresentados os resultados obtidos, por meio de pesquisa de campo, referentes à aplicação da teoria dos gêneros textuais em sala de aula.
O objetivo é averiguar se realmente existe um trabalho com os gêneros textuais em sala de aula e, caso exista, como ele é realizado. Com essas informações, pôde-se traçar um panorama do trabalho efetivo com gêneros que se desenvolve na realidade escolar, o que possibilitou um aprofundamento de reflexões sobre as deficiências e possibilidades que o sistema educacional apresenta. Os dados foram analisados, fundamentalmente, a partir dos pressupostos teóricos da Teoria dos Gêneros de Bakhtin e das propostas de transposição didática realizadas pela equipe de Dolz e Schneuwly.

ABSTRACT
In this article the obtained results, through field research, regarding the application of the textual genre theory in the classroom will be presented. The aim is to investigate if there is work with textual genre in the classroom and, if it exists, how it is done. With this information, it was possible to outline a panorama of the effective work with genre which is developed in school reality, making it possible to deepen reflections about the deficiencies and possibilities presented by the educational system. Data was analysed, fundamentally, starting from the theoretical approach of Bakhtin’s Genre Theory and the proposals of teaching transposition accomplished by Dolz and Schneuwly’s group.
