A LITERATURA NEGRA FEMININA NO BRASIL – PENSANDO A EXISTÊNCIA

Resumo: O artigo visa levantar alguns aspectos da Literatura Negra Feminina no Brasil que tem se destacado fortemente no panorama da chamada Literatura Afro-Brasileira, ressaltando a singularidade da fala das escritoras negras que partem das vivências cotidianas das mulheres negras. Transformado tudo isso em amálgama para a criação de textos poéticos e ficcionais, tais escritoras constroem personagens negros e enredos que contrastam com a chamada “Literatura Brasileira”, incluindo a Literatura Feminina, em que a presença de personagens negras complexas em subjetividade e ações humanas quase nunca se dá ou, quando muito, fica relegada ao segundo plano e de maneira negativa em meio a estórias estereotipadas.

BLACK WOMEN’S LITERATURE IN BRAZIL − THINKING THEIR EXISTENCE

Abstract: The article seeks to discuss aspects of Afro-Brazilian women’s literature that has emerged forcefully within the panorama of the acclaimed Afro-Brazilian literature, highlighting the singularity of discourse by black women writers that surfaces from lived experience, from within black women’s daily context, itself transformed into material for the creation of poetry and fiction writing. They construct black characterizations and plots that contrast with the so-called “Brazilian literature,” including women’s literatures, in which the presence of black characters complex in subjectivity and human action almost never appear and, when they do, are relegated to the second level in the narrative or are stereotyped in a negative way.
