A IMPORTÂNCIA DA MOTIVAÇÃO NO PROCESSO DE ENSINO-APRENDIZAGEM EM LÍNGUA ESTRANGEIRA

RESUMO

O ensino de língua estrangeira no Brasil, durante décadas, tem sido associado a um estudo necessário, porém secundário nas escolas de forma geral, uma vez que essa disciplina não faz parte das matérias de maior importância no currículo escolar. Essa disciplina tem sido renegada a segundo plano e também permanece com estrutura defasada na dinâmica de ensino, pois não há investimento ou entendimento de que nesse contexto pós-moderno, o uso de uma segunda língua é um grande instrumentalizador para promover não apenas ascensão financeira, mas sobretudo conexão entre culturas diferentes, bem como ampliar a visão de mundo do discente. O presente artigo buscará entender os mecanismos do processo de ensino-aprendizagem de uma segunda língua e algumas motivações que envolvem as particularidades desse aprendizado, bem como os objetivos de se ensinar e/ou aprender a língua inglesa no enfoque brasileiro.

ABSTRACT

For decades the foreign language teaching in Brazil has been associated with a necessary study, but secondary in general schools, since this discipline is not part of the matters of greater importance in the school curriculum. This discipline has been denied to a background and lag structure also stays with the dynamics of teaching, because there is no investment or understanding that in this postmodern context, the use of a second language is a great instrument to rise not only financial ascension but especially the connection between different cultures, as well as broaden the worldview of the student.
