A Concep O Da Universidade

A UNIVERSIDADE CONCEBIDA COMO RESPOSTA

Resumo: Todos os povos pensados como a mesma espécie humana e todas as culturas pensadas como integrando uma civilização planetária exigem um novo pensar e um novo relacionamento de saberes e de fazeres que, muitas vezes, se manifestam diferentemente. Na era colonial havia entre saberes e fazeres uma relação de prepotência e de marginalização e mesmo rejeição de formas de conhecimento próprias dos povos conquistados.
As novas relações internacionais e a intenção de recuperar a dignidade cultural de todos os povos, manifestadas na Declaração dos Direitos do Homem, exigem o diálogo intercultural e interdisciplinar como passos essenciais para a humanidade transcultural e o conhecimento transdisciplinar.
A transculturalidade e a transdisciplinaridade possibilitam a sobrevivência da espécie humana, com dignidade. Mas elas necessitam um ambiente para prosperarem. Esse ambiente será a Universidade Renovada.
Summary: All the peoples, thought as the same human species, and all the cultures, thought as integrating a planetary civilization, demand a new thinking and a new relationship of knowledges and of doings that, many times, manifest differently. In the colonial times there existed, between knowledges and doings, a relationship of prepotency and of marginalization and even forms of rejection of the knowledge of the conquered peoples.
The new international relations and the intention of recovering the cultural dignity of all the peoples, manifest in the Declaration of the Rights of the Man, demand an intercultural and interdisciplinar dialog as essential steps for a transcultural humanity and a transdisciplinar knowledge.
Transculturality and transdisciplinarity enable the survival of the human species, with dignity for all. But both transculturality and transdisciplinarity need an environment to prosper. That environment will be the Renewed University.
