Com a atual necessidade do governo de investir em políticas de inovação e tecnologia, além de gerar conhecimento de forma a possibilitar a concorrência pareada da indústria nacional de software com os mercados internacionais, foi criada a certificação CERTICS. A CERTICS é uma certificação que garante que o software produzido é fruto de pesquisa e desenvolvimento realizados no país, que resultou em geração de competências tecnológicas para o país. O artigo a seguir explicará sobre certificação e uma série de requisitos que integram a metodologia de avaliação da CERTICS para Software.

ABSTRACT
