UMA ABORDAGEM SOCIOLÓGICA E FILOSÓFICA DO
CONCEITO DE IDENTIDADE

RESUMO: O artigo propõe uma análise sobre o conceito de identidade através de uma abordagem filosófica e sociológica. Como se constitui a identidade?Que relação existe, nessaconstrução, entre o indivíduo e aalteridade?Qual aimportância, paraa construção da identidade, da linguagem, daéticae dacultura?A partir destas questõese através de teorias filosóficas como a de Paul Ricoeur cuja elaboração é uma síntese entre posições extremas como acartesianaeadeNietzscheeFreud, edeteoriassociológicas embasadasespecialmente em Stuart Hall que apresenta uma proposta conceitual onde a identidade é um processo construído socialmente, discursivamente e eticamente ao longo da vida. Uma identidade equívocaou fraturada cujaconstrução é sempre mediadae oblíqua.

ABSTRACT:This article proposes an analysis about the identity concept through a philosophical and sociological approach. How is the identity made?What relationship exists in this construction, between the individual and otherness?How is it important, for the construction of identity, language, ethics and culture? From these issues and through philosophical theories such as Paul Ricoeur whose preparation is a synthesis between extreme positions such as Descartes and Nietzsche and Freud, and sociological theories grounded especially in Stuart Hall which presents a conceptual framework where identity is a social constructed process, discursively and ethically throughout life. A mistaken identity or fractured whose construction is always mediated and oblique.
