Back-to-basic Marketing/ Basics Marketing: This method consists on a “practical” approach of the good being advertised. Marketers opt for highlighting what problems their product solves and how it does it.
SEO: Stands for Search Engine Optimization and it consists on the use of internet, more specifically Search Engines such as Google and Yahoo, to drive people to their website and introduce them to the company’s products/services.
Viral/WOM: Use pre-existing social networks to produce increases in brand awareness or to achieve other marketing objectives (such as product sales) through self-replicating viral processes, analogous to the spread of viruses or computer viruses. It can be delivered by word of mouth or enhanced by the network effects of the Internet.
Macroeconomics: Is a marketing strategy that involves a study of the population as a whole to better understand how to make a product well accepted by it.
Social issues: Taking in consideration social issues (such as unemployment and debt of the families) to shape their product in order to make it more appealing to the public affected by these problems.

The study of these demographic factors is very important for planning a marketing strategy, because marketers want to appeal to the most population possible.
For example, let’s think about the Population Age Mix. It’s a known fact that, nowadays, in the developed societies, we observe a tendency for the ageing of the population; this is, the elderly population ratio is rising uncontrollably, like never before seen. Some studies even predict that the 21st Century will witness even more rapid ageing that the last one.
This problem is one that
