Mídia e Educação: reflexões sobre a propaganda da propaganda

Resumo: Este artigo analisa os fragmentos da noção de cultura divulgada pela campanha publicitária veiculada na televisão. O objetivo é discutir o consumismo de bens materiais e simbólicos pela via da sedução da propaganda destinada a um grande público. As proposições teóricas de Ellsworth, Hall, Kellner entre outros possibilitam uma análise do discurso para pensar uma educação para a mídia no espaço escolar. A indústria midiática atua no processo de subjetivação dos indivíduos e estimula a cultura do consumo. Considera relevante a formação de professores e professoras para decodificação das mensagens midiática, a fim de realizar de uma leitura critica e consciente.

Media and education: reflections about the advertising of advertising
Abstract: This article analyzes the fragments of the notion of a culture released by the advertising campaign aired on television. The aim is to discuss the consumerism of material properties and symbolic for the way of the seduction of the advertising destined to a great public. The theoretical propositions of Ellsworth Hall, Kellner among others make possible an analysis of the speech to think an education for the media about the pertaining to school space. The media industry operates in the process of subjectification of individuals and stimulates the culture of consumption. It considers important to formation of teachers to decoding media messages in order to make a conscious and critical reading.
