RESUMO

Atualmente nenhuma questão hoje é tão importante quanto a questão da água. Dela depende a futuro de toda a cadeia da vida.
A água pode tanto ser motivo de guerra como de solidariedade social e cooperação entre os povos. Especialistas e grupos humanistas já sugeriram um pacto social mundial ao redor do problema da escassez da água e suas consequências.
Independentemente das discussões que cercam o tema da água, pode-se fazer uma afirmação segura e indiscutível: a água é um bem natural, vital, insubstituível e comum e fundamental para a sobrevivência de qualquer ser vivo.
No Brasil, especialmente na região sudeste, a escassez de água tomou proporções assustadoras nos últimos anos, deixando todo país em estado de alerta.

ABSTRACT

Currently no question today is as important as the issue of water. On it depends the future of the entire chain of life.
Water can either be cause for war as social solidarity and cooperation among peoples. Experts and humanist groups have suggested a world social pact around the problem of water scarcity and its consequences.
Regardless of the discussions surrounding the theme of water, you can make a safe and indisputable assertion: the water is a natural, vital, irreplaceable and common and critical to the survival of any living being.
In Brazil, especially in the Southeast, water scarcity has taken frightening proportions in recent years, leaving every country on alert.
