CÂNCER INFANTIL: INTERVENÇÃO, FORMAÇÃO E PESQUISA EM PSICOONCOLOGIA PEDIÁTRICA

RESUMO
No intuito de propiciar reflexões sobre a atuação em Psico-oncologia pediátrica, propõe-se uma discussão sobre aspectos científicos e profissionais dessa área específica da saúde. Para tanto, apresenta-se um breve histórico dos trabalhos realizados pelo Laboratório de Saúde e Desenvolvimento Humano, destacando-se seus projetos de intervenção, formação e pesquisa. Ênfase é dada à contribuição da Psicanálise no enfoque da díade mãe-criança com câncer. Abordam-se, também, o enfrentamento infantil a partir da análise da literatura infanto-juvenil internacional – Através do Espelho, A Pequena Vendedora de Fósforos, O Soldadinho de
Chumbo e Pele de Asno – e a percepção da criança em relação à doença e seu corpo por meio de material lúdico. Palavras-chave: psico-oncologia pediátrica; intervenção; formação; pesquisa.

CHILD CANCER INTERVENTION, DEVELOPMENT AND RESEARCH IN PEDIATRIC
PSYCHO-ONCOLOGY

ABSTRACT
With the purpose of encouraging work in the area of pediatric psycho-oncology, a discussion on scientific and professional aspects of this specific health area is proposed. To this end, a brief background on the work carried out by the Laboratory of Health and Human Development, highlighting their projects of intervention, development and research. The contribution of psychoanalysis on the focus of the mother and child-withcancer dyad is highlighted. Also touched upon is child confrontation beginning with an analysis of the international child-adolescent literature, such as Through the Mirror, The Little Match girl, The Lead Soldier, and The Ass and the Mule. Lastly, the child’s perception in relation to disease and his or her body through playtime material.
