Na Suma Teológica, Tomás de Aquino afirma haver varias formas de leis dominadas pela lei eterna. As leis divinas, naturais e humanas, seguem, nesta ordem, respectivamente o grau de subordinação que uma tem sobre a outra, tendo a ei divina no topo seguida pela lei natural e a lei do homem. O trabalho exposto tentará compreender a origem da fundamentação de que as leis divinas não foram feitas por Deus, mas sim pela igreja católica a fim de conseguir autoridade politica perante o mundo.
Abstratc
In the Summa Theologica, Tomás de Aquino says there are several ways to laws dominated by eternal law. The divine law, natural and human, here, in this order, respectively the degree of subordination that one has over the other, with God's will at the top followed by natural law and man's law. The work exhibited will try to understand the origin of the reasoning that God's laws were not made by God but by the Catholic Church in order to achieve political authority to the world.

1. Introdução

Este artigo científico expõem a Teoria de Tomás de Aquino quanto das formas de leis e os confronta com a ideia desta teoria ter ajudado na relativa dominação da igreja católica sobre o mundo, sob juízo de que seriam eles os criadores das chamadas leis divinas. Esta pesquisa tenta responder a seguinte questão: A igreja católica usa as leis divinas como forma de manipulação das pessoas que seguem sua doutrina?
