Resumo: leitura, construção do conhecimento

LEITURA: CONSTRUÇÃO DO CONHECIMENTO - RESUMO
O artigo apresenta algumas considerações sobre o papel da leitura no processo de construção do conhecimento. Antes de chegar a elas, pareceu-nos útil trazer as concepções de conhecimento, a partir das idéias de alguns pensadores ao longo da história da humanidade. O conhecimento engloba a totalidade da experiência humana, exige a curiosidade do sujeito em face ao objeto a ser conhecido e requer dele uma ação transformadora sobre a realidade. Assim, a busca do saber é uma atividade inerente e exclusiva do ser humano. A leitura pode ser considerada um meio possível de se chegar ao conhecimento. Como conhecer através da leitura? Para tratar deste assunto tivemos como principais interlocutores o grande educador brasileiro, que se preocupou em criar uma teoria do conhecimento e que, de certa forma, desenvolveu uma epistemologia da leitura, Paulo Freire e, o estudioso na área da leitura, Alberto Manguel.

ABSTRACT
The article presents some considerations on the role of the reading in the process of the knowledge building. Before arriving them, it seemed for us to be useful to bring some conceptions of knowledge, from the ideas of some thinkers along the history of the humanity. The knowledge includes the totality of the human being experience, demands curiosity by the citizen in face to the object to be known and requires from him a transforming action on the reality. Thus, the search of knowing is an inherent and exclusive activity of the human being. Reading can be considered a possible way to get knowledge. How to know by reading? To deal with this subject we had as the main interlocutor the great Brazilian educator, who worried in creating a theory of the knowledge and that, in certain way, developed an epistemology of the reading, Paulo Freire, and, the studious on the reading area, Alberto Manguel.
