RESUMO

O sistema prisional brasileiro encontra-se em estado de calamidade, a superlotação, a falta de infra estrutura das penitenciarias e presídios tornam cada vez mais difícil a ressocialização3 do preso4. O presente trabalho tem por escopo analisar o quanto é importante o trabalho5 para o preso durante o cumprimento da pena. A ênfase recai crítica e objetivamente a partir de pesquisas divulgadas onde a ressocialização do preso que trabalhou durante o cumprimento da pena6 foi satisfatória. É direito de todos os cidadãos, ainda que tenha cometido algum delito, serem tratados com dignidade e respeito. È neste contexto que as políticas sociais se encaixam e podem fazer valer o principal objetivo da lei de execução penal que é punir e ressocializar.

Abstract

The prison system is in a state of calamity, overcrowding, lack of infrastructure of penitentiaries and prisons become increasingly difficult the rehabilitation of the prisoner. The present work has the purpose to analyze how important the work for the prisoner during his sentence. The emphasis is critically and objectively from research disclosed where the rehabilitation of the prisoner who worked during the execution of the sentence was satisfactory. It is the right of all citizens, even if you have committed any offense, be treated with dignity and respect. It is in this context that social policies fit together and can enforce the main objective of criminal law enforcement is to punish and re-socialize.
