REVIEW OF THE MOVIE RIO

This funny film, ‘Rio’ is an animation in graphics computer 3D, the type of comedy , producted by 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky studios and directed by the brasilian director Carlos Saldanha (Ice Age). Among the main officers voice actors stands out Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Rodrigo Santoro and Will.i.am. The film tells the story of Blu, a male hyacinth macaw of Minessota, USA, that is taken to Rio de Janeiro to mate with a female of the same species. The story begins when, a little hyacinth macaw was captured by animal traffickes in Brazil and deserted in a cold city of Minessota, USA, where she was been found for the girl Linda, who leaves her to your house and put her name of Blu, that becomes your best friend. Fifteen years later, Linda is living your life with Blu, fully domesticated, when Túlio, a Brazilian scientist, arrives, want to take Blu to Brazil with the intention to save the species from extinction, seeing that, Blu is the last male hyacinth macaw in the world. Blu is presented for Jade and together, they live an amazing adventure at the exciting and colorful sceneries of Rio de Janeiro, involving birds smugglers, persecutions, other friends birds, love, carnival and the fact of Blu can’t fly. The film reaches a climax when, Blu, that is stuck on a plane with Jade and other birds, get out of the cage, fight with the enemies, save Jade and his friends and courageously can fly. In the end, Jade and Blu get together and free in the forest, Linda and Túlio adopt a Brazilian boy and form a family. The smugglers are arrested. This film is very exciting and funny. The script is interesting and holds the viewer's attention independent of the age. The animation was very well developed and
