RESUMO:Este artigo retrata a relevância do relacionamento do orientador na perspectiva da inteligência emocional. Tendo como objetivo apresentar o conhecimento e a prática da inteligência emocional nas mais inusitadas situações vivenciadas pelos orientadores educacionais. A elaboração deste trabalho utilizou-se de pesquisa bibliográfica a respeito da orientação educacional e inteligência emocional que estão alicerçados nos estudos de: Goleman, Antunes, Grinspun, Néreci, Loffredi e Carkhuff, onde foram analisadas as idéias dos autores célebres. O método utilizado foi hipotético dedutivo, tendo em vista que o embasamento se deu por pesquisa bibliográfica, respondendo assim ao tema proposto.

ABSTRACT:This article retract the relevance of the relationship of the Counselor in the perspective of the emotion intelligence. Having like objective present the knowledge and the practice of the emotion intelligence in the more unusual situations lived by Guidance Counselor. The working out of this work make use of the bibliographic inquiry to respect of the education direction and the emotion intelligence that are foundation in the studys of the: Goleman, Antunes, Grinspun, Néreci, Loffedi e carkhuff, where did analysis of the ideas of the famous authors. The user method was deductive hypothetical, having in mind that the foundation made for bibliographic inquiry, answering like this to the proposal theme.
