I. Posesseve Adjectives: My, Your, His, Her, Its, Our, Your, Their

Usage / Uso
They are used to demonstrate posession. Indicate who is the person who owns a particular object or thing.
São utilizados para demonstrar posse. Indicam quem é a pessoa que é proprietária de algum objeto ou coisa.

My name is Marcus / Her name is Maria/ This is your suitcase / That is his automobile / That is our house / This my dog Elvis and that is its bone / Their best friend is Marty.

II. Definite and Indefinite Articles: THE / A / AN

Usage / Uso

The definite article is used to indicate a specific object, thing or person.

The indefinite articles are used to indicate a specific object, thing or person.
Os artigos indefinidos são usados para indicar um objeto, coisa ou pessoa específica. Existem dois tipos de artigos indefinidos: A = utilizado antes de palavras iniciadas por consoante. AN = utilizado antes de palavras iniciadas por vogal.
