Introduction

"The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" is a short story by Washington Irving contained in his collection The Sketch Book of Geoffrey Crayon, Gent., written while he was living in Birmingham, England, and first published in 1820. With Irving's companion piece "Rip Van Winkle", "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" is among the earliest examples of American fiction still read today. Tim Burton directed a film about this story in 1999, though your adaptation takes many liberties with the plot and characters, changing Crane from the local schoolmaster into a police constable sent from New York to investigate recent murders, with the Horseman being used as a weapon against the local landowners. Already our adaptation in this book is based on the movie.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

Sleepy Hollow was a shadow and mystery place. There was that place a legend of the horseman without head that haunted everyone, who was a horseman that was dead a long time ago and there was been buried in that quite town. He was cruel and love to kill and he was killing everyone in Van Tassel family. Therefore, it was called a investigator, no one liked to assume the case, only the lest in the police list, a fearful man named Ichadod Crane. And on arrival he falled in love with Katrina Van Garret who was the lest heiress of the Van Tassel family, because she had lost your mother when she was very young. Your stepmother Lady Van Tassel was a witch who since she was child promised you soul to horseman without head, she did a witchcraft what for the horseman killed everyone in her family
