RESUMO A partir do conceito genérico sobre grupos e a diferenciação entre grupos sociais e grupos terapêuticos, as autoras propõem uma revisão bibliográfica não sistematizada sobre a utilização de grupos de atividades em Terapia Ocupacional, como recurso no tratamento de clientes com transtornos psicóticos. Considerase que a formação do grupo, por si só, já proporciona benefícios ao cliente. Através da elucidação sobre as especificidades deste tipo de grupo, a autora destaca, segundo a literatura da área de terapia ocupacional, suas vantagens e a maneira mais eficaz de se trabalhar com esta poderosa ferramenta. THE USE OF THE GROUP AS A THERAPEUTIC RESOURCE IN PROCESS OCCUPA THE PROCES S OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY OF CLIENTS PSYCHOTIC LITERATURE WITH PSYCHOTIC DISORDERS: NOTES OF LITERATURE
ABSTRACT From the broad concept of group and the differentiation between social groups and therapeutic groups, the authors propose a non systematic literature review about the use of groups of activities in Occupational Therapy as a resource in the treatment of clients with psychotic disorders. It is considered that the group composition, by itself, stand benefits to the customer. Through the elucidation of the specificities of this group type, the authors highlight, through the specific literature of Occupational Therapy, their advantages and most effective way of working with this powerful tool.
