RESUMO
O presente estudo tem como objetivo avaliar como a disciplina de Educação Física é vista pelos alunos e utilizar uma modalidade já inserida no ambiente escolar, usando algumas adaptações existentes, como o basquete de rua, para despertar o interesse pela expressão corporal. A metodologia utilizada foi à aplicação de questionários fechados, na Escola Miguel Arcanjo localizado na cidade de São Sebastião – DF e posteriormente um workshop. A amostra foi composta de 79 jovens, com idade entre 10 e 15 anos, sem padronização do gênero sexual. Conclui-se que o intuito da disciplina é a inclusão de todos os discentes de modo que haja participação e desenvolvimento, gerando expectativas de continuidade. As aulas de basquete agregadas à música despertaram um novo sentido para as aulas práticas, ocasionando o maior número de participantes.

RESUME
The present study aims to evaluate how the discipline of Physical Education is seen by students and use a form already inserted in the school environment, using some existing adaptations, such as street basketball, to generate interest in body language. The methodology used was the application of closed questionnaires, Michael the Archangel School in the city of San Sebastian - DF and later a workshop. The sample consisted of 79 youngsters, aged between 10 and 15 years, without standardization of gender. It follows that the order is subject to include all students so that there participation, and, generating expectations of continuity. Classes aggregated basketball to music awakened a new sense for the practical classes, causing the largest number of participants.
