RESUMO
Neste trabalho é apresentada uma breve reflexão acerca do pensamento de Jean Piaget e sua imensa contribuição ao Construtivismo. Traz-se à luz à discussão questões ligadas a Psicologia Educacional, que formam a base da investigação aqui debatida acerca da formação da inteligência e do conhecimento.
O trabalho analisa as concepções particulares, defendidas tanto por profissionais da educação (em suas posições individuais) como por instituições de ensino, no entorno da proposta construtivista de ensino-aprendizagem. Em confronto com as acepções tomadas particularmente sobre o tema, apresenta-se elementos substanciais, retirados do cerne de trabalhos de outros autores sobre as obras de Jean Piaget, com o propósito de colocar em evidência o sentido e o significado da relação sujeito/meio ambiente no processo de construção do conhecimento.

ABSTRACT

In this work a brief reflection on the thought of Jean Piaget and his immense contribution to Constructivism is presented. Brings the light to the discussion issues related to educational psychology, which form the basis of the research discussed here about the formation of intelligence and knowledge.

The paper analyzes the particular conceptions defended by both education professionals (in their individual positions) such as educational institutions, in the vicinity of constructivist teaching and learning.
