RESUMO
Estudos de Percepção Ambiental mostram que problemas ambientais são vistos de diferentes maneiras por diferentes pessoas, a responsabilidade ambiental varia conforme a distribuição social ou profissional do indivíduo. Este estudo teve como objetivo conhecer a percepção da problemática ambiental das crianças visitantes do Mantenedouro de Fauna Silvestre em Boa Vista Roraima, no que concerne a manutenção de animais em cativeiros. Fazendo uso do método quantitativo sobre a percepção ambiental das crianças visitantes do Mantenedouro E sobre a percepção infantil obteve-se como principais resultados o desconhecimento da fauna existente na Amazônia por parte das crianças participantes da pesquisa.

ABSTRACT Studies of Environmental Perception show that environmental problems are seen in different ways by different people, the environmental responsibility varies according to the individual's distribution social or professional. This study had as objective knows the perception of the children visitors' of Fauna Silvestre's Mantenedouro environmental problem in Boa Vista Roraima, in what it concerns the maintenance of animals in captivities.
