MONITORAMENTO DO DESLOCAMENTO POPULACIONAL DAS BALEIAS FRANCAS AUSTRAIS, Eubalaena australis, EM TORRES, RS/BR.

Abstract:
The population migration can occur periodically or not, these are journals that occur for breeding and birth of the puppies. While the shift may occur sporadically by climate change and those involved usually do not return to the old environment. The Right Whale (Eubalaena australis) is often sighted between the months from July to November in the northern coast gaucho. Normally mother and puppies are sighted in these times, but there is also the occurrence of lonely adults. In this study, information was collected during the reproductive season of Right Whales in 2012, performing a literature specialist, selected information about the species Eubalaena australis, physical, behavioral, population displacement and actions to protect species. Thus was established a schedule of activities monitoring the displacement of southern right whales in Torres, RS. Therefore the present study aims to monitor the displacement, check the frequency and spatial distribution of groups in reproductive seasons of 2012.

A migração populacional pode ocorrer de forma periódica ou não, esses que são periódicos ocorrem para reprodução e nascimento dos filhotes. Enquanto que o deslocamento esporádico pode ocorrer por alterações climáticas e normalmente os envolvidos não retornam ao ambiente antigo. A Baleia Franca (Eubalaena australis) é frequentemente avistada entre os meses de julho-novembro no litoral norte gaúcho. Normalmente são avistados mãe e filhotes nestas épocas, porém também há a ocorrência de indivíduos adultos solitários.
