ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
First and foremost, I would like to dedicate this dissertation to my family and thank them for all the love, support and incentive they gave me at all times, as well as for the confidence they always had in me, sometimes even more than myself.
Second of all, special tribute to my friends at Anatel for teaching me so much about the Brazilian telecommunications market, helping to shape the professional I am today. I know that without you I would not have come this far.
Thirdly, my gratefulness and appreciation to my supervisor, Robert Bruce, for the respectful, firm and peaceful guidance which helped me so much through this rough, confusing yet satisfying process of writing the ‘final project’.
Last, but not least, I wish to thank with all my heart my friends from the Masters in Communications Management, for sharing the good and bad times, the funny and serious moments. I came here lost and alone but I go back home carrying in my luggage a dream fulfilled and a whole new and wonderful family (you my friends),also knowing that I could have make it without you, but it would not have been so good.
