Police Officer

A police officer is a warranted employee of a police force. Police officers are generally charged with the apprehension of criminals and the prevention and detection of crime, and the maintenance of public order, it is the job of the police officer. Some police officers may also be trained in special duties, such as counter-terrorism, surveillance, child protection, VIP protection, and investigation techniques into major crime, including fraud, rape, murder and drug traffic.

* Requirements to become a Police Officer
You will need to demonstrate certain qualities, like strong communication skills, a sense of personal responsibility, a confident and calm manner, teamwork skills, sound judgement, honesty, and professionalism.

* The courage of a Police Officer
The job of the police officer can involve matters of life and death. When an officer ends up in the line of fire, panic is not an option. If you are easily intimidated by others or shudder at the thought of a physical altercation, reconsider your career path. At the same time, do not mistake aggression for courage. People who enjoy violence should not work in law enforcement. In that regard, many departments conduct psychological screening tests to weed out potentially dangerous personalities.
