INFECÇÃO HOSPITALAR E A INFECÇÃO CAUSADA PELA BACTÉRIA

RESUMO: Este estudo teve como objetivo determinar a prevalência da infecção hospitalar, os microrganismos causadores, destacando-se o microrganismo Staphylococcus aureus e importância epidemiológica para a assistência à saúde. São apresentadas as principais infecções e seus agentes causadores. As infecções hospitalares são as mais frequentes e importantes que ocorrem em pacientes hospitalizados. O conhecimento sobre infecção hospitalar, mecanismos de transmissão e mecanismos de prevenção básicos, como lavagem das mãos, isolamento de doenças transmissíveis e medidas para prevenção de cada infecção, são fatores importantes que todos os profissionais da saúde devem saber. São apresentadas as principais infecções e seus agentes causadores. Em seguida, são analisadas a epidemiologia, diagnóstico microbiológico, imunológico e molecular e o tratamento do microrganismo Staphyloccocus aureus.

ABSTRACT: This study aimed to determine the prevalence of nosocomial infections, the causative organisms, especially Staphylococcus aureus and the epidemiological significance to health care. It presents the main infections and their causative agents. Hospital infections are the most frequent and important that occur in hospitalized patients. Knowledge of hospital infection, transmission mechanisms and prevention mechanisms basics such as hand washing, isolation of communicable diseases and prevention measures for each infection are important factors that all health professionals should know. It presents the main infections and their causative agents. They are then analyzed the epidemiology, diagnosis, microbiological, immunological and molecular and treatment of microorganism Staphylococcus aureus.
