EDUCAÇÃO DE SURDOS – HISTÓRIA E IDENTIDADE CULTURAL
Resumo: Este estudo tem como objetivo apresentar a origem histórica da cultura e educação de surdos. O estudo constitui-se com base em uma pesquisa bibliográfica e tem como segmento a linguagem de sinais inclusa no mundo contemporâneo. Será abordada (tendo como início) a história da surdez no mundo, as batalhas para obtenção de identidade cultural na sociedade pelos surdos, buscando acompanhar a educação destes, sua inclusão e aceitação no meio social e educacional humano. Todas as dificuldades pelo que o surdo teve que passar para poder ter sua identidade cultural aceita com respeito e autoridade, uma língua legalizada com alfabeto próprio e sua vida social desenvolvida e com autonomia, bem como as dificuldades que são apresentadas pelos profissionais que auxiliam alunos surdos nas escolas de ensino regular nas quais estes alunos estão inseridos, buscando socialização e muitas vezes esquecendo de sua própria cultura.

Abstract: This study has as objective presents the historical origin of the culture and education of deaf. The study is constituted with base in a bibliographical research and he/she has as segment the included language of signs in the contemporary world. It will be approached (tends as beginning) the history of the deafness in the world, the battles for obtaining of cultural identity in the society for the deaf ones, looking for to accompany the education of these, his/her inclusion and acceptance in the social way and education human. All of the difficulties for the that the deaf had to pass to have his/her cultural identity accept with respect and authority, a language legalized with own alphabet and his/her developed social life and with autonomy, as well as the difficulties that they are presented by the professionals that aid deaf students in the schools of regular teaching in which these students are
