O tradicional ensino da gramática não está sendo suficiente para o bom desempenho do aluno, não só na escola, mas em qualquer outro lugar. Pesquisadores apontam que se a instituição de ensino não adotar novas maneiras de ensiná-la, os alunos concluirão o ciclo básico, sem domínio algum da língua materna. O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar uma das novas perspectivas de ensino da norma, o qual é o preferido pelos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais – PCN: O texto como base para o ensino da gramática.

The traditional way of teach Grammar isn’t enough for a good development of the student, not only at school, but in everywhere else. According to some researchers, if the school doesn’t adopt new ways for teaching grammar, the students will finish the basic cycle of school, without any field of his/her mother language. The main focus of this work is to show one of the new perspectives to teach grammar, which, by the way, is the preferred of the National Curricular Parameters: the text as the base for the grammar teach.
