Abstratc This paper presents a case study in the Hospital Evangélico (Evangelical Association
Benevolent Spirit Santens AEBES). The Hospital is a nonprofit and philanthropic.
Its activity is inhospital care in the specialties of cardiac cirurgy, neorocirurgy, Orthopedics, Renal Transplantation,
Bariatric cirurgy high complexity.
He has about 700 employees, and 102 beds, medium and high complexity, being classified as medium. It has a lean organizational structure and is undergoing a restructuring of all this structure, using the strategic planning and PDCA as powerful tools for management, control and monitoring activities. Besides, there are IT tools that give grants to all levels of management from the coordination to the Director General. In 2008 the Hospital take a public hospital to manage, being the first partner of type
PublicPrivate Partnership in the hospital in the state of ESBrazil.
Therefore the case study examines the partnership agreement, from the perspective of the goals to be acomplished.
To do so makes a comparison between what was agreed upon and what has been done, focusing only on the obstetric services which represent 85% of services of motherhood.
With this has come to a result of large difference between the agreed upon and carried out, concluding that motherhood is working with large idle capacity. After it identifies the cause of this large difference and points to possible solutions.
