He began his career as an actor in amateur theater at the College Sacred Heart of Mary, where he studied. In 1989 he joined the program X or Xuxa, produced by TV Globo between 1986 and 1992 as part of the second generation paquitas. Was chosen as the new Pituxa in March 1989, replacing Louise Wischermann, the first Pituxa. Paquitas and led the group received this nickname for being the "baker" group, ie, she was the most distracted and "payer of mico" girls. In 1990 the Group began participating Basement, based in Villa Lobos Theatre, where he developed a personal language through scenic investigations, physical and vocal. He was part of this group until 1994, when he began to write the novel "Four by Four" by Carlos Lombardi.
Leticia group recorded two albums Paquitas, the 1989 and 1991, and participated as paquita films like Dream of Summer, Moon Crystal and Black Gaucho.

After a few guest appearances in 1992 comedy The Trapalhões, Leticia made a debut in the soap operas play the character Debbie, a cameo in Farewell Single.
Some years later, with the withdrawal of actress Adriana Esteves, Leticia won his first major role in 1994 when the actress debuted as Babalu, one of the seven protagonists of the telenovela Four by Four. Surprising everyone, Leticia's character as well as their interpretation, were the highlights of the novel, turning the hairdresser Babalu most popular character in the book written by Charles Lombardi and one of the most popular
