Resumo
O título deste artigo pode até parecer um tanto esquisito, mas ele está correto. O texto trata em primeiro lugar da importância atribuída por
Einstein à alegria na aprendizagem da ciência. Dentro desse contexto, discutimos o relacionamento de Einstein com os brinquedos científicos, a partir de dois exemplos raros: um deles resgatado da sua infância e o outro já do final da sua vida. Um dos brinquedos mencionados, aqui denominado de elevador de Einstein , é analisado como uma excelente ilustração do Princípio da Equivalência da Relatividade Geral. Após discutirmos brevemente o sentido mais geral deste princípio, retomamos a questão da sua visualização através da análise de alguns outros brinquedos científicos alternativos que também ilustram de modo mais fácil o mesmo princípio.

tioned toys, here called Einstein´s elevator , is analyzed as an excellent illustration of the Equivalence Principle of General Relativity. After briefly discussing the general meaning of such a principle, we retake its visualization issue through the analysis of some other alternative scientific toys, which also illustrate the same principle in an easier way.
