Palavras-chaves: Educação; Educação Inclusiva; Formação de Professor. ABSTRACT This article aims to analyze teacher education in the context of inclusive education. Proposes to assess the historical trajectory of inclusive education in Brazil, punctuating their major advances and obstacles. Even with the proposal of this discussion, challenges us to think about the educational policies and practices in daily school universe discussing the possibility of greater investment in teacher's qualification as a mediator of knowledge. Encourages us to review policies, laws and practices arising from the recognition of diversity in the classroom and the specifics of inclusive education recognizing the challenge that is thrown for teachers and all others involved in this specialty.
