ABSTRACT: The use of educational games geared for Environmental Education's recent thematic dialogue in education. Thus, the paper aims to show the importance of educational games in environmental education and interaction of students with the environment where they belong, trying to environmental preservation as a whole. The use of certain games as a methodological strategy is to support the development of citizen awareness about the environment. Games developed can be applied in the classroom with students from 6th to 9th grade of elementary school, looking for the same interaction with the production and development of games and giving priority to reusable materials. Being a leisure activity, it is expected an increase in the preservation and knowledge of the students towards the environment, since the union of theoretical and practical content are of great aid to learning and attachment content.
