I’m talking about this theme because, nowadays, are increasingly the youngsters that experience drugs. Some think that, with the use of it, they become more “cool” or, sometimes, they begin to consume to integrate in a group and to be accepted.
All the types of drug have two sides: the good and the bad. In this work, i’ll talk about both.
Drug, is any natural or synthetic substance that, when being introduced in the organism, can modify one or several of it’s functions.
There are many ways of using:
Smoked;
Inhaled;
Injected.
There are plenty of different drugs around the world, but the best known can be divided in two types:
Legal: Tobacco, Alcohol, Prescripted medicine;
Illegal: Cocaine, Ecstasy, Heroin, Cannabis, Non
Prescripted Medicine, Opium, Hallucinogenic mushrooms. There are some solvents that are, also, used as drugs, such as glue and gasoline.
Cocaine’s plant is original from South America.
Cocaine can be used by multiple forms:
Smoking;
Inhaling;
Injecting.
The bad side:
The good side:
Increased energy;
Stimulant;
Decreased appetite;
Anesthetic.
Mental alertness;
Increased heart rate and blood pressure;
Constricted blood vessels; Increased temperature;
Dilated pupils.
Ecstasy is a psychoactive synthetic drug with amphetamine-like and hallucinogenic properties.
Is generally a mixture of things like speed, aspirin, caffeine, ketamina or drugs of the acid type-LSD.
It’s commonly used in pill form, but it also can be inhaled.
Normally it is taken at “raves”, clubs and other parties.
The bad side:
Nausea;
Blurred vision and seizures;
Chills and/or sweating;
Increased heart rate and blood pressure; dehydration and hyperthermia or dramatic increases in body temperature;
