OCORRÊNCIA DE DISTOCIA EM FÊMEA “MINIATURE HORSE”
(THE OCURRENCE OF DYSTOCIA IN FEMALE MINIHORSE)

RESUMO
Foi atendida pelo Serviço de Obstetrícia do Hospital Veterinário “ Governador Laudo Natel” da FCAVJ-Unesp,
Campus de Jaboticabal, uma fêmea Minihorse, quatro anos de idade, com oito meses da segunda gestação, apresentando contrações peristálicas uterinas insuficientes, sintomas leves de cólica, ruptura do saco alantóico com insinuação dos anexos fetais na rima vulvar, sem odor ou elementos contaminantes. Ao exame clínico, constatou-se, por meio de palpação vaginal, estática fetal incorreta, indicando-se a cesariana, a qual foi realizada através de incisão na linha média abdominal.
O pós-operatório constou de antibioticoterapia e curativo local diário, sendo que o animal teve excelente recuperação, apresentando estro 60 dias após o ato cirúrgico. Concomitantemente ao atendimento, foi realizada análise cariotípica da fêmea, apresentando resultado considerado normal para a espécie, ou seja, 32 pares de cromossomos.

SUMMARY
A four years old female Minihorse was observed in the Obstetrics Departament of Veterinary Hospital “ Governador
Laudo Natel “ of FCAVJ-Unesp, Jaboticabal Campus. At eight months of the second pregnancy it did not succeed trying to deliver, showing insufficient peristaltic uterine contraction, slight colic symptoms, rupture of the allantoic sac with exposition of the fetal membrane in the vulvar lips, no presence of smell or contaminating elements. In a clinical examination, vaginal palpation showed incorrect fetal static, indicating the caesarean procedure done in the midline abdominal area.
