The recent discovery of iPS cells has been the focus of research in many universities and in research laboratories. The various controversial on the subject has been clarified, from tests with mice and human cells. The researchers have been focusing on new ways to get the iPS, which would be the covalent embryonic stem cells capable of regenerating tissues and organs. The biology of iPS is still a science in the making, but it is growing and taking over the medical affairs. It is a discovery with great potential, which may ultimately bring in other fields where knowledge was once totally zero. As therefrom can see possible treatments for degenerative diseases and may also be substituted organ transplantation.
