TERCEIRIZAÇÃO DA PRODUÇÃO NA INDÚSTRIA DO
VESTUÁRIO: PERCEPÇÕES A PARTIR DE UM CASO

This paper approaches the aspects linked to the outsourcing of productive activities, identifying the manifold influences that sustain it, and the aspects that generally take the companies to outsource. It are also lifted up the main current problems of the outsourcing observed in the literature about that, and to follow we have analysed data of a research accomplished to a company producing of pieces of clothes, located in the state of
Espírito Santo. This company outsourced leaves of its productive activities in the last decade, and now, starting from a change on its strategy, it analyses the possibility to bring some activities back inside of its industrial unit. The production outsourced is shown as a difficult conversion so that it can increase the levels of quality of the product to the company. Key words: outsourcing, production strategies and quality

1. Introdução
Em fins dos anos 1980, o poder público brasileiro promoveu o incremento de políticas governamentais com vistas a facilitar a entrada de produtos estrangeiros no país
(Guimarães, 1996). Tal ação se desenvolve a partir da introdução de reformas estruturais que alteraram o arcabouço regulatório relacionado às políticas do comércio exterior brasileiro, as quais praticamente eliminaram as barreiras não tarifárias às importações
(Markwald, 2001). Ainda no mesmo sentido, soma-se a ação de redução gradativa dos níveis tarifários incidentes sobre produtos importados ocorrida no governo Collor, e a introdução do Plano Real (1994), que completaram o ciclo de mudanças nas estruturas do comércio exterior brasileiro.
