ABSTRACT
Objective: To analyze the publications in the area of nursing audit disclosed in REE, with the justification that the audit is still little attention in undergraduate nursing and publications on the subject in REE are scarce and centralized in a few regions of the country. Method: This retrospective study of bibliometric approach was to test the identification of output published in the Electronic Journal of Nursing (REE) based on descriptors Audit
Registry and Audit of Nursing Registration and Nursing in the same article. Results: They were organized into matrices analysis and presented in tables and quantitative statements about the merits of the studies. We used only the original articles, not computing case studies, summaries, and dissertations. Conclusion: The study enables nurses to provide data and authors, considering the importance of theoretical knowledge and practice of these activities, expressing perfectly the relationship between cost and quality. Objetivo: Analisar as publicações na área de auditoria em enfermagem veiculadas na REE, com a justificativa de que a auditoria ainda é pouco abordada na graduação em Enfermagem e as publicações na REE acerca da temática são escassas e centralizadas em poucas regiões do país.
